Straight answers.
Including the awkward ones. If your question is not here, ring us — we would rather answer it than have you guess.
That price seems low. What is wrong with it?
Nothing — it is a different shape of work. We build the same well-tested foundation every time instead of starting from scratch, the scope is decided before we begin, and there is no layer of account managers between you and the person building your site. The saving comes out of the process, not out of your website. The work in our portfolio is what these packages actually produce.
What is not included?
We publish the full list rather than leaving you to find out. Brand identity from scratch, photography and video production, advertising spend, large catalogues or anything with customer logins. Extra pages, copywriting and other add-ons all have a flat published price, so nothing arrives as a surprise on the invoice.
I do not have the words or the photos.
Most people do not, and it is the single most common reason a website project stalls. We send a guided form with worked examples rather than a blank page, and if writing is the part you keep avoiding, we will write it for you as an add-on. Photography we can brief and coordinate for you.
How long does it really take?
Two to five weeks depending on the package — and the clock starts the day your content arrives, not the day you pay. That is the honest version. A build that waits three months for photos is the normal way these projects go wrong, so we set a content deadline up front and hold both of us to it.
Can I update it myself afterwards?
Yes, for the everyday things — text, photos, prices, hours, staff, opening times. We record a short handover video walking through your site specifically, so you are not left with a generic manual.
Do I own it, or am I renting it from you?
You own the domain, the site and the content outright, including if you stop working with us. We will hand over every login and help whoever comes next pick it up. Nothing is held hostage.
Why not just build it myself on a website builder?
Sometimes you should — if you are testing an idea, or you genuinely have five hours a week to spend on it. Be honest about the second part. The most common story we hear is eight months of Sunday nights and a site that is still not finished. If that sounds familiar, three weeks and a fixed price is the trade you are actually making.
Will it get me to the top of Google?
Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does is selling you something. What we can do is build the foundation properly: fast, technically sound, structured for search, and with your business listing set up correctly. That is what gives ranking a chance to happen.
What if I do not like the design?
You see the home page design early — before we build the rest — so if the direction is wrong we find out in week one, not week three. From there you get two rounds of changes, and extra rounds have a published price if you want them.
Still not sure?
Ring and ask. We will tell you honestly if a cheaper package suits you, or if we are not the right fit at all.
