How we build
Accessibility.
We build websites for a living, so this is a statement about our work rather than a disclaimer about it.
The standard we build to
WCAG 2.2 Level AA, on this site and on every site in our packages — not as an add-on. In practice that means text contrast of at least 4.5:1, every function reachable by keyboard, a visible focus indicator on everything interactive, real alternative text on images that carry meaning, and a page that still works at 200% zoom.
What we do on this site specifically
- Semantic HTML — headings in order, real landmarks, real buttons and links.
- A skip link to the main content as the first focusable element.
- Colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
- Motion respects
prefers-reduced-motion. - Every page works with JavaScript disabled, navigation included.
- Contrast is checked against the translucent panel fills, not just the base colours — glass is where accessibility quietly fails.
Where we know we fall short
[Keep this honest and current. List known issues, what you are doing about them, and by when. If there genuinely are none, say when the site was last audited and by whom. A statement claiming perfection is less credible than one that names its gaps.]
Tell us if we have missed something
If any part of this site is difficult to use, we want to know — it is a bug and we will treat it as one. Email hello@konek.au or call 0000 000 000. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will come back to you within one business day.
